Jemima is a specialist Chartered Physiotherapist who has expert knowledge and experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries. She is the founder of Jemima Cope Physiotherapy and is passionate about making your health a priority, from the everyday enthusiast to the elite athletes she will work with you allow you yo live your best life. Jemima Cope Physiotherapy offers physiotherapy appointments and specialist rehabilitation from the brand new Instinct Gym and Wellbeing Centre in Tarporley and also in Bunbury. In addition to this she has gained invaluable experience working at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, one of the country's leading Orthopeadic Hospitals and Centre of Excellence.

She has gained extensive experience through her varied NHS work both in Hospitals, GP clinics and working as a first contact practitioner (FCP). She is a musculoskeletal out patient specialist physio, treating complex spinal/whiplash injuries, sports injuries, post operative care and rehabilitation following orthopaedic operations.

 

She graduated in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and since has worked across a variety of different settings including the NHS, private healthcare and national league sports teams. Jemima has completed Advanced Physiotherapy training and education including a Master's Module from the University of Salford.

Since starting her Women's Health training, Jemima has developed a passion about this population group and feels that every women should see a Women's Health Physiotherapist following delivery (C-Section or Vaginal), postnatal check.  Pre / postnatal she will treat pelvic girdle pain (including sacroilliac joint or pubic symphis pain), pregnancy related lower back pain, pelvic pain and bladder symptoms, rectus abdominis diastasis (abdominal separation). 

 

She has a keen interest in Pilates and and often uses Pilates based rehabilitation together with manual skills to give holistic and integrated care.

Jemima is a competitive sports player herself, and is passionate about all sports so understands the importance of getting patients back to doing what they enjoy. At the weekend Jemima enjoys spending time with her two boys whilst trying to squeeze in a run if she gets a spare moment.
